Ambient electronic artist Louf's sound is inspired by a combination of influences, spanning back to sampling for hip hop beats as a teenager, through minimal house and dub techno, to his recent interest in synth and ambient music. Following singles 'Skara', and 'Troposphere', Louf has just dropped the 3rd track 'Formation' from his forthcoming EP Skara. 'Formation', features a broad brassy note that repeats over a tangle of springy electronics, and low-end drum sounds. As the song progresses, the springy electronics gain presence and melody, whilst dreamy synth pads spread. 'Formation' takes the emotion of ambient music, and pairs it with the percussive elements of electronic music, for a spacey and stimulating song.
